Outsourced IT management for SMEs.

A dedicated IT manager is not justifiable in a small business, but the need for IT management is still there.  We offer comprehensive IT management well below the cost of a full time employee.

Mid-sized businesses can afford an IT manager, but a single company is a limited environment that leads to stale knowledge. At a cost comparable to a full time employee, we perform the same duties with constant exposure to new companies and scenarios.

Experience

A lot has happened in IT over the past 10 years. Terminal-computing had a boon, a bust and is now back disguised as cloud-computing. Computational power available to end-users has increased 200-fold, smart phones have matured and are extremely useful devices, and the list goes on.

It is tempting to adopt the latest and greatest and often more tempting to keep costs down. Making an informed business decision requires more information than the present stage of technology.

Besides our up-to-date expertise we have a long term view of IT technologies, putting aside the hype and marketing that is a characteristic of the industry.


Our approach

We have two objectives:

  1. Turn your IT into an appliance: always there, always working, and doing what you expect it to do. 

  2. Keep you informed on possibilities, so you can increase your expectations. Then back to #1.

By “there”, we mean wherever you and your employees are – in the office, in a business trip or just keeping an eye on things when on holidays.

Cost

We are interested in long term relationships, and we understand the need for clearly established budgets. We also understand the risk you take in choosing a new provider for services. With all that in mind, we have a simple scheme: a fixed per-user/month fee, and no minimum contract.

You always know how much your IT will cost you, and if you are about to expand the business you can budget for it accurately. There are no extra costs for big projects like moving premises or a company merge.

Our per-user/month fee is currently £192 per user/month, adjusted every April as per official inflation figures.
